FlexREVIEW Overview

FlexREVIEW is an application that enables you to quickly and securely review, approve, and submit time-coded comments against your uploaded assets at any time.

In FlexREVIEW you can:

• Preview assets that have been assigned to you for review
• Download the asset you are currently reviewing
• Make comments against specific frames in an asset
• Search for comments that other users have posted 
• Search for existing review sessions in the review portal 

Logging in to FlexREVIEW

FlexREVIEW is an integral part of your Dalet Flex account.
You must have rights to access FlexADMIN. In Roles permissions in Flex CORE.

In the Apps section, FlexREVIEW must be selected.

Login by adding fmp/review/index to the end of the URL for your account and platform. For example: https://youraccount.platform.net/fmp/review/index or select FlexREVIEW in the app switcher in FlexMAM.

When you login, FlexREVIEW opens on the Browse page.

FlexREVIEW Interface

When you have logged in, the FlexREVIEW browse page is displayed. The FlexREVIEW interface includes these sections:

A) Header

• Home: Return to the Browse page in FlexMAM
• Search Bar: Perform search to find review sessions
• Run Wizard icon: Run standalone wizards from FlexREVIEW
• Notifications icon: Claim tasks from FlexREVIEW
• Profile Picture: Select the interface language, edit user details, log out of FlexREVIEW

B) Filter per Field: Filter reviews in the Home page by asset type

C) Review List: Displays a list of reviews that are New or Active

D) Player: Preview the assets being reviewed

E) Review Panel: Contains the Review Details tab, Comments tab, Users Assigned tab and Start button used to start reviews

Searching for a Review

You can search for a specific review session using the search bar. This can be useful if you have a large number of review sessions. To search for a review session:

1. On the top-toolbar, click inside the search bar
2. Enter a keyword or a phrase associated with the review session you are looking for.
3. Click the Search icon, or press the Enter key.
4. The list filters down to display only the review sessions that match your search criteria.

Review List

You can see a list of review sessions. The newest review session is at the top of the list by default. 

You can click any of the column titles to Sort by that column., for example by ascending expiry date.

Review Panel

When you click on a review session in the list, a review session summary panel is displayed. This panel contains: the Review Details tab, the Comments tab, the Users Assigned tab and the Start button.

Review Details tab: Displays details about the review session, including the name of the review, any instructions that the creator of the reviewer has set, the duration of the asset, frame rate per second, the start time code, the initiator, the review priority and the session expiry date.

Comments tab: Displays a list of comments that have been against an asset in FlexREVIEW. These comments can also be viewed in FlexMAM. 

Users Assigned tab: Displays a list of users that the review session is assigned to. This tab also indicates if the assigned user is an Internal or External Third Party User who has been given secure access to the asset for a given amount of time. Review sessions for a single asset can be assigned to more than one user.

Start Review: The Start button, , is located at the bottom of the panel. When you click this option, the asset is opened in a Review session. 

Review Duration

Reviews expire after their Due Date has passed. For example: the person who sets up your review session might set the expiry period at 14 days, which means that you only have 14 days in which to submit your review. The expiry date applies to all users associated with the review session. The review session will go into an “Expired” state regardless of whether a user has completed the review. Finished and expired reviews are not displayed, but can still be accessed in Core, from the Review drop down in the Asset tab.

Changing the FlexREVIEW interface language

You can change the language of the user interface in FlexREVIEW. Click on the Profile button and select a language from the drop down list.
