Dalet Flex Core: Jobs: Launching Jobs

A Job can be launched in a number of ways:

From the Asset Toolbar

When one of more assets are selected using the asset toolbar, the actions are run as jobs. These Jobs can be viewed in the Jobs section. When run in this way, the user has the option to select the priority of the job, the start time and any configuration associated with the underlying action.

To launch a job from the Asset Toolbar

Navigate to the asset that you want to launch the job from.

Select the action from the toolbar at the top of the page, for example Publish.

In the Create Publish Jobs box, select the Publish Action type, for example YouTube Publish.

From the API

Developers can create and run jobs using Dalet Flex's API. In this context, the developer has the option to select the priority of the job, the start time and any configuration associated with the underlying action. You can find the Dalet Flex API documents here.

From a Workflow Node

You can view jobs within workflow nodes being launched in the workflow instance screen.
