The object details screen is shown when you click on a link to view the details of a Dalet Flex object. In this section we will look at the sub-tabs that are available in all Object Details sections (assets, workflows, tasks, and so on).
The tabs that run along the top of the Object Details section are often referred to as "sub-tabs". Most sub-tabs will display a number, which represents how many items are present within that specific tab.
Summary Tab
The Summary tab is the first tab you see when viewing an object in Dalet Flex. The fields available vary depending on the object type. However, the majority of Summary tabs will display the following object information:
- Name: The name given to the object.
- Description: A description of the object
- Variant: The Variant for the object (assuming the object type supports variants).
- Metadata information: The metadata definition for the object
- ID: The unique ID for the object.
- Created: The date that the object was created.
- Last Modified: The date that the object was last modified.
- Account: The account that the object belongs to.
- Locked: Whether the object is locked (assuming the object type supports locking).
- Approved: This will tell you whether the object has been approved or not (assuming the object type supports approval).
- Owner: The owner of the object.Dalet

Followers Tabs
The Followers tab shows you a list of all account members that are following a particular object. This provides a useful means to know who else has a shared interest in an object in Dalet Flex. Rolling over an entry in the list of followers will provide a pop-up showing the user details.
History Tab
The History tab provides a complete list of all events associated with an object in reverse chronological order.
References Tab
Some objects reference (and are referenced by) other objects. The References tab provides a list of all objects that the current object references. Rolling over an entry in the list of references will provide a pop-up showing the object details.
Locks Tab
If an object type can lock other objects, the Locks tab will be made visible. This view shows which other objects the current object owns locks for. The table shows the ID of the object that is locked as well as the lock type (read or write). Rolling over each row will display a pop-up providing details on the locked object. Clicking on a row will load the locked object details screen.
Deleting and Releasing Locks
If you have the correct permissions (edit and delete locks), you will be able to delete or release a lock by clicking on the right-hand chevron. This is a useful super user level function should you wish to clean-up a failed job, for example.
Multiple Locks: Flex Enterprise plugins
Enterprise plugins acquiring multiple locks are supported. If the job requires multiple objects to be locked, External Lock mechanism will attempt to acquire all object locks at an atomic operation. If any lock is not available, it will not acquire any and it will register for notification. When the object is released, it will try again to acquire all or none. This operation is repeated until all locks are acquired in an atomic operation.
