Modify Relationship Plugin
The Modify Relationship action type supports these plugins that modify the relationships between Dalet Flex objects.
- Add or Update Asset
- Add to User Defined Object
- Remove from User Defined Object
- Workspace Move
Add or Update Asset Plugin
The Add or Update Asset plugin is used to add or update a parent asset to a given asset. This allows you to make an asset a child of another asset, for example to associate an asset that has been imported as a proxy to an existing asset. This plugin is also used to update the parent-child relationship with a different asset.
NOTE: By default, the add or update asset plugin cannot modify the parent asset if the given asset already has a parent. To update a parent asset, select the Update Parent Relationship check box inside the action configuration.
Parent Asset (Mandatory)
Specify the parent asset to assign the given asset to as a child. Expand the section to set the configuration details for the parent asset.
Parent Asset – Parent asset name to use
Parent Asset ID – Parent Asset ID to use
If both Parent Asset and Parent Asset ID are set, action is performed on the parent asset and parent asset ID is ignored.
Source Origin (Mandatory)
Asset Origin (Child Type) to set on the child asset
Reference Name Optional name for the parent-child relationship
Update Parent Relationship Select this check box to change the parent asset if the given asset already has a parent asset associated with it.
Add to User Defined Object Plugin
The Add to User Defined Object plugin is used to add an asset to a user defined object. For example, if there is a user defined object called “Monster Movie”, use this plugin to add assets to it.
Parent Details (Mandatory)
Parent User Defined Object – Parent UDO to use
Parent User Object ID – Parent UDO ID to use
If both Parent UDO and Parent UDO ID are set, action is performed on the parent UDO and parent UDO ID is ignored.
Remove from User Defined Object Pugin
The Remove from User Defined Object plugin is used to remove an asset from a user defined object. For example, if there is a user defined object called “Monster Movie” that contains several assets, use this plugin to remove assets from it.
There are no Configuration options for this plugin.
Workspace Move Plugin
The Workspace Move plugin moves an asset (and any asset children or parents in the same hierarchy) or a UDO to another workspace. Optionally, it supports the ability to change the workspace of the running job (and workflow if applicable) to the same workspace.
Source Content
Asset or UDO to move. If not configured, Workspace Move action is performed on the asset/UDO in the job context. Expand the section to set the configuration details for the source content.
Asset – asset to move
User Defined Object (UDO) – UDO to move
If both asset and UDO source content are set, action is performed on the asset and the UDO is ignored.
Workspace (Mandatory)
Target workspace for the asset/UDO
Change Job Workspace
Set whether to change the workspace for the running job and its parent workflow (if running within a workflow context). Default=No
Traverse Members
For package and group assets, set whether to change the workspace for all member assets contained inside. Default=No
Traverse UDO Children
Update the workspace for this UDO and all its child UDOs recursively. Set to No to only update the current UDO. Default=Yes
