The Move plugin enables you to move objects in Dalet Flex.
For a Move Plugin Type, there are three plugin options:
- Move (JEF)
- Move
- Non-Asset Move
Move (JEF)
This plugin allows you to move an asset in Dalet Flex to a specified location.
File Processor Resource (Mandatory)
Select the Processor resource to use to perform the Move action. You must select a Flex File Processor Resource (FFP) type from the drop down list.
Resource Expand the section to set the configuration details for the moved file
Output Set the details of the storage location that files are moved to
Target Resource (Mandatory) Destination Storage Resource for moved files
Sub Path (Optional) Add a folder hierarchy to the base Storage Resource path to move files to
Rename Details Set whether to rename the file during move:
No – default option. The file name is persisted.
Yes – If you select the checkbox, supply a new file name or the system will auto generate a file name.
Reference Name (Optional) Name added to the Reference Name field of an asset when you execute the Move action
Tag (Optional) Set a tag to be added to moved files
OverrideSet whether to override an existing file with the same name. If Rename option is selected, the new renamed file name will be used for verification.
No – default option. If file with the same name and same size exists, Move action is skipped.
Yes – overrides existing file with the same name
Move
This plugin allows you to move an asset in Dalet Flex to a specified location.
Folder Resource (Mandatory unless Storage Resource has been selected) Destination Folder Resource for moved files
Storage Resource (Mandatory unless Folder Resource has been selected) Destination Storage Resource for moved files. If a Folder resource has been specified, Storage Resource is ignored.
VFS Location Legacy option Destination storage location in the specified virtual filesystem location.
To use, expand the section and configure the following properties:
Protocol (Mandatory) Protocol for accessing the VFS location. Supported protocols: AZBS, GCS, FILE, FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, S3, SFTP, SMB, WEBDAV
Hostname (Mandatory except for FILE, S3, GCS and AZBS protocols) Hostname for accessing the VFS location
Account Name (Mandatory for AZBS protocol) Account name for accessing the Azure Blob storage
Port (Mandatory except for FILE, S3, GCS and AZBS protocols) Port for accessing the VFS location
Path (Mandatory for File protocol) Path for accessing the location (absolute path starting with / except for FTP, SFTP which are relative to the user home directory)
Username (Mandatory except for FILE protocol) Username for authentication
Password (Mandatory except for FILE, S3, GCS, AZBS protocols) Password for authentication
Key Key for authentication
Secret (Mandatory if a Key is supplied) Secret key for authentication
Token Token for authentication (required for GCS authentication)
Bucket (Mandatory for S3, GCS, AZBC (Container) protocols) Bucket for storing the copied files in
Private Key File (Mandatory) for SFTP certificate authentication Upload the private key used for SFTP authentication
rename Set whether to rename the file during copy:
No – default option
Yes – If you select yes, the system will auto generate a unique file name when the file is moved.
Non asset move
This plugin allows you to move a file that does not have an asset associated to it in Dalet Flex to a specified location.
Source Resource Item (Mandatory) Expand the section to add the Resource and Item Name of the source file
Source Resource (Mandatory) Resource Folder/Storage containing the source file
Item Name (Mandatory) Item name in the source resource
Target (Mandatory) You MUST select ONE of the options Target VFS Location or Target Resource for the target location for the raw file.
Target VFS Location Target location in the specified virtual filesystem location. To use, expand the section and configure the following properties:
Protocol (Mandatory) Protocol for accessing the VFS location. Supported protocols: AZBS, GCS, FILE, FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, S3, SFTP, SMB, WEBDAV
