FlexMOVE Uploading Files

FlexMOVE enables you to effortlessly upload your assets. Use FlexMOVE to :

  • Upload media files: video, audio, image, subtitles and documents
  • Assign uploaded media to a workspace
  • Enter key information via a metadata form at the time of the upload
  • Pause and resume an upload
  • Perform a bulk upload of two or more assets
Administrators must complete the FlexMOVE setup before this application can be used.

 

Launching FlexMOVE

  1.  In Dalet Flex console, click Upload on the toolbar.

     



    OR

    In Dalet FlexMAM, click the App Switcher in the header and then click FlexMOVE.

    OR

    Open FlexMOVE directly in your internet browser, by adding

    /fmp/transfer

    to the URL for your account and platform. For example:

    https://youraccount.platform.net/fmp/transfer

Importing media with FlexMOVE

To support your business needs, you can import different media types into Dalet Flex with FlexMOVE. You can import these asset types:

Video
Audio
Image
Document
Subtitle
You can import assets with metadata, without metadata and you can import only metadata to create a placeholder that an asset is associated to at a later time. You can import single assets or multiple assets.

 

Uploading Files

You can upload single or multiple files using FlexMOVE.

 

Uploading single or multiple Files

Uploading a single or multiple files follows the same procedure. 

You can browse to select a file or drag and drop single files to FlexMOVE.

 

  1. Open FlexMOVE. Select an inbox and workspace from the drop down menus.

  2. Drag files from the computer into the middle area or press Click to add files to open a file browser, where you select the files and click Open.

  3. Once a file has been added, you can no longer change the inbox/workspace, even if you removed all content. In this case you have to close the window and re-open FlexMOVE.
  4. The files will be listed accordingly. You can add additional files by clicking "Add files" or delete added ones, by clicking the "x" icon.

  1. Click Upload Files; FlexMOVE uploads the file and a progress bar shows the state of the upload.

Canceling An Upload

To cancel an upload while it is in progress, click the Cancel button, 2022-10-02_08h51_34.png.

 

Pausing An Upload

To pause an upload, click the Pause button, 2022-10-02_08h51_42.png. Resume upload using the Play button mceclip0.png.
