As mentioned, assets typically reference a digital file and associated metadata. To ensure scalability and support for a range of file storage devices, Dalet Flex assets store their digital file in a folder resource. A folder resource in turn belongs to a storage. When looking at an asset details for an asset that references an underlying digital file, you will notice that a folder resource name is provided. This is a reference to the folder that the file resides in.
